Donald Edward Ramunno serves as the leading landscape lighting designer at Orlando Outdoor Lighting, a company specializing in outdoor lighting design, installation, and maintenance within the Central Florida area. Donald finds fulfillment in assisting clients in crafting sophisticated lighting arrangements that highlight the charm of their outdoor environments while ensuring the safety and protection of their residences and commercial establishments.
In 2014, Donald was selected by a nationally acclaimed and award-winning designer to work and study as his protégé. Since then, he has continued to utilize and expand upon over three decades of expertise and understanding of the Orlando Outdoor Lighting industry with a clientele that includes the Enzian Theater, Winter Park Racquet Club, Lake Highland Preparatory, Marc-Michaels Interior Design, Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels, Johnson University Florida, Mercedes-Benz, as well as numerous homeowner associations and personal residences throughout Central Florida.
Donald is not only passionate about his career in the world of landscape lighting design but also deeply committed to our local community. Both personally and as a local business owner, he and Orlando Outdoor Lighting actively volunteer with several community organizations and regularly contribute to fundraising events that support the arts, athletics, education, and nature. These organizations include the Enzian Theater in Maitland, the Wekiva Wilderness Trust, and the Kappa Delta Sorority at the University of Central Florida.
Ken Ciocco19/01/2024I can't say enough about Orlando Outdoor Lighting. Don and his son are top notch professionals. We have a corner property with lots of trees and it was like a black hole at night. I had checked out some of the other properties they had done before signing the contract. He uses high end hardware and backs it up with an extensive workmanship and hardware warranty. We have been getting compliments from the neighbors since the lighting was installed. We couldn't be happier.

Tyra Blew20/12/2023I am so thrilled with how the string lights over my pool have turned out. I learned about Don’s company via his work for the Enzian Theater. (Sit next to the fountain at Eden Bar on a balmy February evening and tell me that we aren’t the luckiest people in the world to enjoy such ambiance in the dark of winter.) After attempting to hang string lights myself to disastrous fault, I called Don. He arrived same day and booked my place for the following week. All I can say is that my only regret is that I did not immediately call him after seeing his ad at the Enzian last February. I am so pleased with how my patio looks and cannot wait to entertain guests! Don mentioned that he puts the lights on a dimmer and with a timer that adjusts according to the amount of daylight during the year. I did not appreciate truly how nice of features these are until after I saw them in action. As a first time homeowner, new projects have found me fraught with uncertainty about the level of trust and credibility to place in a contractor. Don put me at ease immediately and I am looking forward to working with Orlando Outdoor Lighting again! I cannot wait to see my full vision for my yard come to fruition!

Don listened to look I was trying to achieve and gave me great ideas of what he thought would work best. A proposal with various options came quickly and he adjusted everything to what we wanted.
